Subscribe to international roaming service with your home
country's operator. |

If not, please check with your operator for handset rental

Turn on your handset to log onto your local network. |

Select SmarTone-Vodafone as your preferred network operator. Please follow the steps below to set
up your phone:
On your handset menu, select > "Settings"
or "Network Selection" > "Preferred network"
> "SmarTone-Vodafone" or "SMC-Voda" |

Cancel the "IDD Barring" feature if you want to
make IDD calls back home. |

Check your travel charger. The voltage in Hong Kong is 220
volts, 50 Hz. |
