To avoid unnecessary call charges, you may like to make outgoing calls only while roaming, follow the suggestions below:
1. Activate Unconditional Call Forwarding
Divert all incoming calls to your "Voice Mail" service or "Messaging" service using unconditional call forwarding if you have access to this feature. Ask your callers to leave a message while you are abroad. You can retrieve your messages and prioritise return calls.
2. Cancel Conditional Call Forwarding
Cancel call forwarding on "Busy", "No Answer" or "Unreachable" to avoid unexpected charges. If not, these calls will be relayed first to Hong Kong and then back to your home country.
