Two Ways to Connect
BlackBerry Connect offers two wireless platforms for different types of users and organizations.

BlackBerry® Internet Service™
It is designed for individuals and smaller businesses. And It provides an Internet-based email interface that allows users to access their personal and/or business email while on the go. BlackBerry Internet Service can be set up to wirelessly extend multiple supported email accounts, such as POP3/ISP email, Microsoft® Outlook® and IBM® Lotus Notes®. No server software is required.

BlackBerry® Enterprise Server™
It is designed for larger organizations with IT support. It tightly integrates with leading messaging servers to provide BlackBerry Connect users with advanced security features and a wireless extension to Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus® Domino® mailboxes. Users should contact their IT department to ensure their organization has BlackBerry Enterprise Server installed behind their enterprise firewall. With BlackBerry Enterprise Server, users of BlackBerry Connect devices also gain additional enterprise-grade features, such as centralized management support, Triple DES encryption and IT policy enforcement capabilities.
