How to migrate to BIS 2.4

This self-migration guide provides the necessary steps required for upgrading the BlackBerry Internet Solution Email v1.8 to v2.4. Please note that after the self-migration, the BlackBerry Internet Solution cannot be reverted to v1.8. If you are using BlackBerry®Connect™, you are not eligible for self-migration. Please contact our Data Hotline 2880 2622 directly for assistance.

Self-migration
1. Go to the following URL: http://www.smartone-vodafone.blackberry.com
2. Enter the appropriate User ID and Password and click "Log in".
 
3. After log in to BIS Website, you will see the web page of "Upgrading to BlackBerry Internet Solution v2.0". You can read the major changes and the impact of this migration. Please read carefully.
 
4. If you decide to migrate later, click "No". If you want to migrate to BlackBerry Internet Solution v2.4, click "Yes".
5. The migration process will be run automatically and then the successful message will be prompted after the completion.
 
6. New service book will be sent to your handheld.
7. After the service book is received, you can see the following changes on your handheld:

- Additional per-source mail icons shown (one per each account) on handset
- Each mailbox will be received a new Welcome Message
8. You need to reset the following items (if necessary):

- Filters
- Auto
-BCC
- Auto reply addresses
- Auto signature
